My diagnosis

Well, today I have received some news regarding the problems I have been having. Good news is that it isn't Multiple Sclerosis or a tumor. I am wearing an event monitor to check my heart. I haven't received the results of my blood work to check myasthenia gravis.....hopefully, that will come soon. I had an MRI yesterday and this is what they said....I have had a stroke. They are not sure when it happened, but the MRI showed it. It was located on the right side of my brain, in the back. They are doing more lab work, checking my cholesterol (which has always been perfect). She also said she wants to do some other panels to check and see why and what has caused me to have a stroke at such an early age. I already know that I have 3 major causes of strokes...Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and obesity. I am going Saturday to have an MRA done (angiogram). That is going to check the blood vessels in the brain. She will be putting me on blood thinners, probably Plavix since aspirin is out of the question. I'll keep everyone updated as I hear more...
