I Got My Date!!!!

I got the date for RNY. It's March 21st! I am so excited! Now all I have to do is get the tests done before surgery, so for the next month, I will going to a lot of appointments, which is fine by me as long as I get this done. My surgery was approved through insurance in less than 4 hours! I couldn't believe it.

Yaaaay!!! I'm so happy for you!!! I just got my date yesterday. I'm getting the RNY on March 13th. My testing is all done. In fact I had to redo my pulmonology clearance because it'll be 2 weeks older than the maximum 6 months. Ironically, I already had an appointment set up with my pulmonologist for yesterday! So we re-did the chest x-ray and mini breathing test yesterday!! Now I just have to redo some blood tests and I'm on my way!! I hope you have a safe, uneventful surgery and recovery! Sue

Congrads I have also just receive my surgery date I got on March 9th to have mind done so I know how excited you are. I have my test done this wed. Valentines day and my Upper gi on the 19th of Feb. Hope u the best of luck. Deneice from Ga.

Congrats to you as well! I had my Upper GI and cardio tests done yesterday. I go Thursday for my pulmonary test. I see the doctor again on the 12th of March and go to the hospital for anything they might need to do. Hope your surgery is uneventful and safe along with the recovery!
