Was wondering if anyone would mind sharing what the prices for plastics here in Georgia are? I just would like to know what I am facing if I get denied through the insurance. I would understand if you didn't want it posted on the board so please e-mail me if you would rather. Thanks, Shree

Hi, Shree, I saw Dr. Litner in Marietta, and he quoted me a price of $16,000 for the stomach, arms and breasts. He said the leg lift would be later, so I didn't get a quote on that. I'm still trying to find a way for insurance to pay, but it doesn't look promising. By the way, so sorry you've had so many problems! I hope you can find someone to get to the bottom of what's going on with you! Good luck. Sandy

Thanks Sandy. I am going to try to get insurance to cover first too but from what I have been told the insurance I have doesn't cover ANY type of plastics but they have some plastic surgeons on the provider directory list so wtfk?!?!?!? Good luck on your approval Shree

I had a tummy tuck, breast lift and arm lift and it cost $16,387.00. If you do not already have a plastic surgeon I highly recommend mine. Her name is Dr. Wang-Ashraf and she does amazing work and is so caring. She works with a lot of WLS people. Her web site is www.artisanplasticsurgery.com.

Thanks...everyone says she is the best. With the breast lift does that include a little padding *wink* or is the augmentation in addition? I am about to start getting my letters of necessity together and go for it..I am so ready!!

They will NOT pay for COSTMETIC..they will pay for RECONSTRUCTIVE if you are great at proving your case and there's not exclusion in the policy. I had many procedures done by wang-ashraf Insurance covered: Panniculectomy Breast Lift Thigh Lift

What hoops did you have to go through to get approved through the insurance? I have several doctors who will probably write letters of medical neccesity but not sure what else I should have in order before submitting. Shree

Augmentation is additional from the lift. I have months and months and months of documentation of rashes, aches, back pain, failed physical therapy, etc. Oh, and LOTS of pics from the times I had issues...taken both by myself and the PS
