Hello Deneice,
my name is Jeannie and I have loved my NEW JOURNEY into life. I had my RNY back in July 2006 and I have meet so many people that are here if we need to talk. This borad has been really helpful to me since I do not have a lot of support of a FAMILY.
Deneice I would like to add you to my friends list and if you ever need to talk I'm here. I'm even on the boards while I'm at work if I'm not really busy. So any question that you want to ask me I will do my best to answer it for you.
I do not know of any support groups in your area but keep posting about it. I'm not sure where Soperton, Ga is at. What is it close too?
WELCOME!
Hug's
Jeannie

Hi Deneice,
Welcome to our humble home. LOL. I am relatively new here and I am a newbie. I have done a lot of listening to the messageboard here and the main board too. It has helped a lot. I can tell you that the preop tests are not usually hard. The important thing to do is to make sure you get a copy of EVERYTHING so you won't have to worry if anyone loses it and keep on the doctor's and nurse's. If they promise you results on Tuesday, call them on Wednesday or Thursday. Don't let them get away with stalling you on your wonderful journey to health.
Sorry I don't know about a support group but there are others in here from Warner Robins so they should be able to help.
