Has anyone had plastics with Dr Burrowes in Atlanta? He is a wonderful Dr, and I had no complications with my RNY. His office told me that he does the plastics also, just curious if anyone has used him for this.

Just my 2 cents...why use him when you can go to a "real" plastic surgeon? A dr. in my surgeon's practice did both RNY and panniculectomies. Was not nearly as good as a real plastic surgeon would do. There are plastic surgeons who take insurance.

I did check with my insurance company about the plastic surgeons that I have heard good things about on this website, but none of them are in my ins network. I also did an online search to get a list of in network surgeons, problem is I have never heard of any of them so I dont know how their work is or which one to go with. Just considered the RNY surgeon because I know he is a good surgeon, but you're right,I guess a real Plastic Surgeon would have more experience with that anyway. Thanks

Dr. Burrowes did one of my co workers plastics also. She had a tummy tuck, and her legs done. She looks great. Our ins. did not offer us a plastic surgeon either at the time, that is why she used him. hope this helps. Tammy

thanks, That is what i need to have done. TT, legs and arms. I really already know he is a good surgeon, just wanted to know someone an good experience with him with plastics. I know it is alot different than my RNY. I also found a local plastic surgeon in my area but I think it will be out of network, so I guess I will just have to make a decision. (so hard) I just want get rid of all this saggy skin soooo bad. Thank you very much
