January Gathering

Alrighty, folks...it seems that some of you are interested in getting together...that is great! I'm thinking about a Sunday afternoon. What do you think? This Sunday may be too soon. I'm also not feeling too creative...so, I need some suggestions as to where to meet. There are a lot of restaurants off of Jonesboro Rd. in McDonough (off of 75). We have Golden Corral, Logans, Red Lobster, Longhorn, Chilis, and I'm sure I'm leaving something off. So, I need to know who all would be interested for sure and where would be the best place? I'm thinking Sunday at 2pm...that gives folks enough time to get here after church and leave before the evening services. That can be a late lunch. The reason I'm saying Sunday is this weekend is too fast approaching, I work next Saturday. So, that doesn't leave us too many more weekends. And, if you don't want to eat, just come to visit. Oh, and if we want a Japanese Steakhouse kind of thing...there is a GREAT one just a few more exits down.... y'all let me know, and I'll start making some phone calls.

Oh bummer! I was hoping that it'd be on a Saturday so that James and I could make it! We haven't been to a gathering in over a year and I was really looking to see every one. Maybe next month! Tonya

I'm not opposed to Saturday evening. It would have to be this Saturday...I don't know if I can pull that off. I'm teaching all day on the 27th. That wears me out. If no one is interested, i can plan something for February, or we can skip this month. I should have thought about this earlier this month.

Stephanie, Either day is good for me....for this weekend....as for a place...I generally do best with seafood. Next weekend is totally absolutely out for me....I am meeting my Texas man that weekend in of all places...Des Moines, Iowa ...providing that I can get out of Atlanta that weekend with all the winter storms that are happening.
