No Energy-Still
I am 15 months post op and have never had any more energy than I did post op. My labs are great, I get all my fluids, protein, vitamins, calcium, etc daily. I exercise daily too, but I still have less energy than a slug. I have lost 188 pounds, and have hit a major stall. In the past 3 months I haven't gained, but I haven't lost either. I still drink my protein drink for breakfast, have 2 snacks throughout the day, eat my main meal at lunch, have a lighter meal for dinner and another protein drink in the evening. I did solve the "constantly constipated" problem finally. I simply have a cup of coffee which I had given up because I have more splenda and milk than coffee in the cup. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Hugs,
Janie

Hi, Sandra/Janie...I miss seeing you...
I'm sorry to hear your energy level is low. I know you are doing great. I hope you don't mind me asking you this, but could you be depressed? Depression will make you very tired. You are doing great with your diet and exercise. Also, carbs can make you sleepy...at least they do me. But, it doesn't sound like that is the problem. I hope you feel better soon.

I had my lap-band put in the day after Christmas. Have lost 40 pounds most of which was water weight I believe. Had plenty of energy until this weekend. I have been dragging for some reason. Oh well.....doing my protein and just trying to pick it up. I have a type A personality so I try to stay active.
How did you solve your constipation problem, my wife is 15 months out. About 9 months ago she started having severe abdominal pains with stomach spasms. Everything checks out normal labs, endoscopy, scan, berium x ray, etc, Recent X rays of the stomach area shows that she is severly impacted? How did you solve this problem? Thanks, Dave
