Support Groups near Troup/Coweta county?

6 months prior to my surgery in August..our group here in LAG lost its place to meet and attendance became poor.....So...besides having you guys here at OH...and my awesome family...I cant find a support group to attend... Anyone know of one near by?

Don't know of any groups, but I had surgery Sept. 26th with Dr. Champion in ATL. AND, my daughter, Natalie, lives in LaGrange. She's single, 26, and teaches English at Troup County H.S. She was a sports writer for the newspaper before switching careers this fall. We're from Indiana and now live in Warner Robins, GA. We visit LG alot and are even headed there this weekend. I know her principal had surgery a few months ago. Good luck with finding a group. B. Trout

oh man small world... My niece goes to Troup and said that Mr Parsons had it done a while back....we are Grangers (LHS) so I dont know him that well but I hear he is doing pretty good. I will have to ask my niece if she has Natalie....

Hi Pam, I live in Newnan and recently found a group in Peachtree City. Is that too far for you? Also, I have considered starting a group in Newnan because there are a lot of us needing support on the SouthSide. Keep in touch

Hi Pam, There is a WLS group in Coweta/Newnan. it's right off 34 at a weight loss center(Kinda like curves), I've been there a few times but for the life of me can't remember the name. Although I can contact a lady who does go there, if you would like the name/location? I myself, go to Carrollton Ga. for mine, it's just as far for me, and since I grew up in carroll county, it feels more homey. Just let me know, Melissa
