What a great story. I also have PCOS and have struggled with weight since puberty. I plan to have surgery (VSG) in late March/early April and look forward to positive changes. Jackie

I saw you in the AJC. I was wondering about the recipe. How many services does it make? It does not tell you how many pieces to cut into. Also do you know what the sugar content is? How many grams? Not sure you consider honey, sugar or not. Enjoyed the article.

One more question what kind of oatmeal is that? regular, quick, or instant? Thanks again

You cut the bars into 16 pieces...I'm not sure of the sugar content, but I never dumped from them...there's a good protein/carb ratio. I just use regular oatmeal from the paper canister...is that quick oats? I use the Quaker Oats. I would consider honey to be sugar...but it's a natural form of it. DeeDee-I had an in office revision a few days ago on my boobs...I'll have to email you the "report." It is not fun to have surgery performed on you whilst you are awake. I'm not really in pain or anything...but she put me off exercise for a week. Knowing me, I'll pop a stitch and get infected...
