Dr Dennis C Smith Jr

If anyone has had DS surgery done by Dr Dennis, please comment (good, bad or indifferent) on how well you believe he performed his job

I am not using Dr Dennis Smith but he was my PCP's surgeon of choice but he does not take my insurance so I am going with her second choice Dr Titus Duncan. Good Luck.

I did not have surgery with him, but I did interview him as well as Dr. Maynard for DS, they are the only local surgeons that I know of that do this surgery on a regular basis. Everyone I spoke to have wonderful things to say about him and his practice, even my doctor (Dr. Maynard) said that if I wanted to have the surgery lap that Dr. Smith was the surgeon of choice because the hospital where Dr. Maynard was doing his surgery did not support lap. Don't know if that helped...oh you might also want to try asking this question on the DS board as well.

I had the DS surgery done by Dr. Dennis, August 2004, I never had any problems. He done a wonderful job, and he is a very good, caring doctor.
