Help!!!

I am so frustrated . My dr's office )Dr. burrowes ) called me today to tell me my surgery was approved finally after 2 appeals. But they are saying its on pre -certified to Dec 31 and he is doing his last surgery on Dec 19th. That gives me a little over a week and I havent done pre-op testing because they wanted me to wait. I live alone and have to leave work this short notice and get soemone to come stay with me, They claim pre cert only does it through the end of the year cuz they dont know about your new policy. they have me calling the insurance company, mind u I just found out at 455pm today! I am torn on what to do!!
