My doctor's office informed yesterday since my medicaid change to Wellcare Medicaid that I can't have revision surgery until I have 2000.00 dollars. How in the h_ _ is a medicaid patient going to come up with that. I feel that is straight exstortion.

What's that your co-payment? I know most surgeons wont do the surgery without the co-payment being paid up front. What are you having a revision for? What type of revision are you having? Best of luck! Emily

Yup I had same problem, except the docs office did not tell me until 2 weeks before surgery plus they wanted 500 for the assistant on top of the 2 grand. Blew my mind, as I have been working with them since early this year. Shame, wish they had told me last summer so I had time to save. But as iot is we have enough left in savings to pay for it so we willl. Just a bummer being it is Christmas time and I will have less for presents.
