HAS ANYONE USED DR JAMIE POUNCE??????

Good mornng Georgia!! beautiful state and great freindly folks! I am looking for a good lap-band surgeon for my freind who loves in eastern Tennessee.. I heard about Dr Jamie Pounce in Dalton Georgia but when I tried typing in his name in my browser , nothing came up .. has anyone here used him???? is he still doing lap band surgery? Any information about him would be greatly appreciated I heard he is one of the best in the entire USA , but all the info I have is a name and town in Georgia .. thank you arianna

Morning Arianna, And yes, he is my current surgeon. Very nice guy. He repaired my hietal hernia which also meant I had to have my lapband repositioned. He also just took out my gallbladder on Monday. I live in Columbus, GA and travel 3 hours just to go to his office cause I trust his opinion and his abilities. I became his patient after I moved to Georgia and had some problems with my band. Dr. Paynter assisted in my hernia/reposition of the band surgery and was just as nice as Dr. Ponce was. If I remember right, Dr. Ponce has done something like 1200 lapband procedures with no losses on the operating table. As for the Weight loss procedure, he only does the lapband.
