Newnan Support Group Needed

I am 7 weeks Post Op and am trying to find a group near my home, anyone know of one?

Hello Irish Lyn, My name is Jeannie and I used the same doctor back in July. I really love him and Tim and the staff too. I want to ask you a question. How would you like to go this weekend to there christmas party? It is at 1:00 in the afternoon. There is another girl that I went to school with that also used him as well. She is just a little over a year post opp. and she has done really well. I have lost 100 pounds since my surgery and I'm really happy about it. I'm sorry that I do not know of any support groups in your area but you are more than welcome to come to the one we have started in Henry county. We would love to have you come. We still small though but we are getting new people each month. I'm like you I have no support and it is really nice to have someone that has had the same operation and knows what it is all about. I would like to meet you for your not really that far away if you would like. JUst let me know. Hug's Jeannie

Hi Irish Lyn, I am from Newnan as well. There is a support group in Carrollton, that I have attended in the past that are wonderful. I haven't been in awhile due to things coming up and not having someone watch my daughter, but they are having one in a few weeks. They usually meet at City Hall off Bradley St., but Dec. they are meeting at a Jap restuarant on Maple St. I know you can't eat those things right now, but you might be interested in the January Meeting (so that food isn't around) I can e-mail you as soon as I know exactly what day in Jan. if you'd like to come. Hubby is started day shift next week (instead of nights) so I'll have someone that can star****ching our daughter and get back into the meetings myself. Best of luck Melissa
