Hello dear hearts. It has been a LONG time. On the food front, I have fallen off the wagon...comfort food (chocolate) once again gives me comfort. I am up to 185, and the doc says not to come back to her until I am back in a support group which is YOU. I wear a comfortable 16, so it is time to get myself under control. My dear mother keeps suggesting NutriSystem!?! You know, sometimes, it is harder to talk when you are messin' up. I have been lurking because I have to keep up with my dear buddies. BIG HUGS to you!!!! On the home front, I have been fighting the old depression for quite some time now. Living with my TRULY sweet mother-in-law should not be hard, but it is. My son Drew is up and down, as is life, but the Lord is faithful. Gregg finishes his LAST degree in February. PTL We have a four month old puppy named Lucy Bell (miniature dax) who is having potty issues, but is otherwise the queen of our abode. She fills our lives with much laughter except for the biting and "piddling." School is great and is still my sanctuary in a way. On the heart front, we lost my beautiful 15 year old niece, Macy McBrayer, in a horse riding accident. She fell two weeks ago and passed last Saturday. She is featured in my photo album on one of our trips to Florida. The Lord's peace is there, but the mourning is still happening. Keep us in your prayers especially my brother Rich, my sis-in-law, Melinda, and 13 year old niece Maddie. Macy is with Jesus! Please forgive me for only lurking, but this is how I deal lately. I love you all! Hugs, Becky

Hi Mrs. Becky, I am so glad that you at least lurk. I do the same. Know that I will keep you in my prayers and I will pray for your extended family too. I am so sorry to hear of Macy's death. She is with the Lord. Our comfort is truly not on this earth but, found in him. I feel for ya with the weight gain issues too! Can you believe that I am over five years out? I have had my panniculectomy done. Next year I will be doing the "girls" and arms. Gotta get through the next foot surgery. I have had seven so far now. I love and miss chatting with you... Take care my dear friend.. Thanks for adding me as your friend. Crece Hare

Hello my friend. MY MY MY how i miss you!! I am so TERRIBLY sorry about your beautiful Macy. I know nothing I could say can ease that pain, but please know my heart hurts with you. I think it's meant for moms to watch our boys go up and down...I'm doing same, on a different scale, but definitely nerve wracking. Honey, as far as your weight goes, MANY MANY of us that are farther out are struggling. I've been back on Jenny Craig for a little while, and i went to my surgeon's "Back On Track" Program. That was the most successful. However, I've had bronchitis for three weeks now, and have been on steroids for 3 wks, and am about to start a whole new regime with higher dosages, and it PACKS on the weight and makes you want to everything in the cabinets and the cabinets themselves!LOL! WOOO FRICKIN HOO!!! Hang in there. Your weight is not doomed. PLEASE email me, and I'll share some of the info about that program. I love you girl. You are SOOOO in our thoughts Christopher says hi!!! -Tami

Hi Becki, I have been missing in action, but wanted to take a moment to tell you that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family! I cannot speak from experience, but have been through this situation with close friends twice now and I know that the healing process is so hard when it is a child that is lost. Try to keep your head up and know that there are God is with you, even when it seems like He is so far away and like He doesnT hear a word we say. Pleae give me a call if you need and ear! 404-914-8577 Valarie

HI, Valarie, Thank you for your kind words. Sometimes, I have to be really quiet to hear His voice. I haven't had time lately, but I know He is faithful even when I'm not. Val, you are a dear heart! I love you, Friend! Becky

Hi, Sweet Sandra, Thanks for your kind words! It still seems VERY unreal...like a really horrible dream! The potty idea is terrific. We have Luci using the potty pads. I have about six around the house, and I replace them frequently (daily). She tends to like my oriental carpet the best. Tonight, Luci Bell learned to sit. When the trainer at Man's Best Friend would tell her to sit, and push her behind down, she rolled over for a belly rub...he said it is a good thing we have signed up for advanced classes! I have NEVER had an inside dog, so this is very new. I appreciate any tips you can give. I hope to see you soon too! Give your sweet hubby a hug for me. Love, Becky
