New to the board

I have been lurking for a long long time, but finally decided to join in...I have started my process...surgical consult...scheduled my physc eval, physical therapist, nutrientionalist. I look forward to being an active member of the board!

Hi, I'm glad that you decided to join our group here. As you start your JOURNEY we will be here to answer any and all of your questions. I had my surgery in July and I have to pay cash. But I'm really happy with my new life now and I'm using my tool to the best of my ability at this point. Keep up the good work.

Hi Kerry, My name is Renee. I am really new as far as posting here myself and I have not had the surgery either. I have been approved by Medicare so far and am waiting on a consult with my surgeon. I hope you will have your journey soon and will be on the loosing side in no time. I dream of that day myself. Just to be "human" again, ahhh what a feeling. I am up in the Rockdale area and my doctor is Dr. Maynard...after much thought and consideration I am having a DS...I have already seen the surgeon...did the physc eval...and now have the physical therapist and nutrientionalist to go. I've been thinking aboutt his for several years now...and have finally decided to move forward. Thanks for making me feel welcome everyone!
