Good for you. My surgery stopped working from Dr.Duncan after two months. I can't find a surgeon either. I am now looking into Dr. Hixson turning my RNY into a Fobi Pouch. I going to make an appointment Monday. How do you feel now. It sounded as though we had the same problem. Are you feeling full now?
I feel fine. I've never felt better. The problem is, I'm eating more, not feeling as full
as as long, and noticed my clothes are fitting a little tighter. The doc I went to didn't
seem too,too worried, but as a person that went from 418 pre-op to 237 post-op, I know
that any weight gain is an alarm. I trained myself to eat post-op,and eat all low-fat, otherwise I'd hate to see how much weight I'd have gained.
Sorry it took so long to respond, I am a long-haul driver, and was gone.
Might try Dr. Jawad in Ocala Fl. www.bariatriccenterofocala.com , he is great and did my WLS surgery. I do know he does revisions of other Dr. work.
good luck, Terri
Well it's probably going to depend on the surgeon if they would place a band. It might be an option, but it will likely depend on how much weight you've put on and how the surgeon feels about the situation. There is a very experienced Lap Band surgeon in Dalton, he's been doing the band for years. I'd recommend contacting him http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/contact-info-request.php?t=s&id=1049 or you might even consider if you haven't gained a lot of weight back in going to any bariatric surgeon near you for some follow up, maybe a scope to make sure everything is in working order. When you get further out this becomes harder. I'd also recommend a really good support group, that's been my biggest rock in maintaining. Good luck to you.

Dr. Smith in Atlanta is a very good doctor. http://www.advancedobesitysurgery.com/default.asp
There are surgeons listed under Bariatric Surgeons here at OH as well.
