I thought I was blessed, so far I had not had any issue with anything I have tried. I have been enjoying a variety of things to try to meet my intake goals, but this morning I met my match. I been thinking of putting cheese and some meat in my scrambled eggs, I have a magic bullet blender and I made real sure it was grated fine. So fine you could barely see... I put about 2 oz of cheese and 1 oz of meat in with 1 egg, and then of course the milk.... I cooked it, made sure I took my time eating it, but about five mins into it and three spoons full I felt a lump in my chest... I thought I had problems swallowing, so I drank some water to help me... but that worsened it... and that's when I felt like it was going to reverse. After the dumping, which was painful, but not as bad as I thought I resumed my water intake. I felt ok after about ten minutes and an hour later I went walking. I still get pretty tired after I exert my self and I took a nap, then I am writing you, the rest of the day is pretty much planned out. We are dropping the kids off with their dad today and seeing our new baby horses, (two Arabians) my wife has a filly, and I have a colt. Which I plan to geld, but one of my goals is to do trail rides and be someone who can enjoy the outdoors. So having a good horse is one of those goals. When we drop the kids off we will visit them and show my mother the horses....around October is when we will bring them home, they will be about five six months old, which puts them at around two months old now. We go down, make sure we work them and pet them and let them get use to being handled because in a few months they will have an attitude and it wont be as easy to do then. So, all in all I guess today was a learning experience, I need to slow back down and put some thought into what I mix in with what. Miles

Hey Miles, when was your surgery again? maybe you ought to just stick with some watered down grits, oatmeal or cream of wheat for a while. Maybe the meat is what made you sick. or maybe even some dry dark toast! did they not tell you not to drink for atleast 45 minutes after your meal? take care Tammy

It was the processed cheese... which I should have known to be a big no no anyways. I was just getting creative and pushed it too far, I am all better now, just need to put that cheese on the back burner ;)
