Has anyone had luck with BCBS HMO covering wls in 2006?

Lisa, It all depends on your employer. In order for BCBS to cover WLS your employer has to purchase a seperate WLS rider to their group policy. From what I understand the rider can be very expensive so a lot of companies opt not to take it. When they dont purchase the rider that normally means WLS is a specific exclusion to your policy, which means regardless of the cir****tances it is not covered by insurance. I am verry blessed that my company covers it. Good Luck!
