IT'S A BOY!!!!

I just wanted to pop in and give ya'll the news. I am fairly new to the Georgia Forum! I'm 20 months post op and 22 weeks pregnant! We found out yesterday we are going to have a Boy! We are so excited! One of the main reasons I had gastric bypass surgery was to be healthy enough to have a baby! Well... it really can happen. I'm proof. Dreams can come true. I'm healthy... my sugar is fine... my blood pressure is great... and I have only gained 10 pounds and it is all baby!!!!! I hope ya'll have a great weekend! Congrats, Jennifer! I'm so excited for you. I have a 4 year old, and I had gotten over 350 while pregnant with him. I was in a great deal of pain and VERY swollen. I swore if we had another one, I would be healthier. Well, almost 1 year post op and 150 pounds lighter, I think we might give it a try...don't tell my husband, though. I haven't told him yet. I'm happy for you. I'm still working on the support group.

I hope you will be able to post that you are pregnant too. It is a miracle... I owe most of it to the surgery. Jen
