30 pounds in 2 months, and you don't know why?? .... wow... I think it is time for you to get back to the basics... you know, plan your meals, start walking every day... that sort of thing... .... and my guess would be that you are unaware of what you are eating... I know I am a lot... so for a while you should try writing down everything you eat ... it really does make you aware of your eating if you have to write down everything... can be a real eye opener... Take a deep breath... and just go back to basics... protein firs****er, walking, and write down everthing you eat... You can do it!!

Thanks Marc, I know what i need to do ..It is almost just getting my brain to realize that i am worth it ya know ..Cause now i am thinking well you have gained 30 so what is the difference if you gain another 30..I am to the point of thinking i will be fat all my life and i hate it cause right now i have no energy and my back is killing me ... ....ya know ...but i did order a Gazelle from Tony Little i have wanted one forever ...So hopefully i can get to skiing on it ...And i am going to try very very hard to get back on trac it is just mentally hard ....And then you feel like you failed since the surgery did not work out for me like others ...I mena i never even lost 100 i stoped at 75-85 and that was it ....But now to gain 30 ok it might have been three months that i think about it ...But still totally not cool. And i really dont want to get a revision done....I wonder if i go back to Dr Duncan if they have anything to say or something ????? Sorry i know i am rambling on here ....but thanks for the support Laura

The basics are all you have. Protein, portion control, cut out the carbonated drinks, no alcohol, no whote carbs, EXERCISE........If you're serious - those are the real basics. You were serious enough about losing the weight to have the surgery and the toll is still there - you just have to use it correctly. THINK about what you eat before you put it in your mouth. Good luck to you! Dee Dee

Dee Dee How can we determine the GOOD carbs from the BAD, I've heard people talking about the GOOD carbs, but how do you know what they are? Melissa

I'm going to post a separate comment about this. I think it's something that needs to be individualized so we can remember what we know! Thanks for asking - it's an IMPORTANT question.
