My EDG Results
I just have woke up from the drugs they gave me, lol. I'm ok I'm going to live, hehehe. They determined that I have reflux and that is what has been causing the nausea. He upped my protonix to 2x a day for the next 14 days and then 1x a day after that. I just gotta watch what I eat acidic and spicy wise. Oh and my Dad told me today for the 2nd time, he wished I had never had this surgery, because I wouldn't be going through this (this was before the test) and I told him, if it's nothing major it's not a big deal, I said you gotta look at it this way I'm off my blood pressure meds etc. Oh and I'm now in a size 8/10 Jeans from a 24/26, WOOHOO. Tops still a med/lardge because of the big ole knockers, but hey they've went from a 48 DD to 38DD.

Melissa,
I am glad that they have found out what was your problem...did you have reflux before you had your surgery?? At least now, you know that you arent going CRAZY!! To me, that is a good thing...
So sorry to hear that your Dad still thinks that this surgery was not worth it. All that he can see are the problems that you have had, and not see that it has made you a more healthier person. I hope that one day he will be able to say to you...I am so glad that you had that surgery. I do thank God everyday for allowing me to have this surgery.
Take care and hope to see you soon...

Thanks Norma,
NO I never had reflux prior to surgery, matter of fact the Dr' seems to think this is something that has been brought on since my surgery because of all the changes in my body. I just don't know what to eat any more since this because even though he upped my meds, I'm still getting nauseous. I've been on the single dose of protonix for 3 weeks now, now doubling it for 14 days, you'd think my body would be getting better by now.
