I'm not AWOL...

I just really haven't had time to do a lot of posting lately. As you all know I work a regular full time job (as do most of us) and I have always spent a lot of time at the gym. Well since I've picked up more classes (teaching along with taking) I just simply have not had time other than just to pop on occasionally as see how everyone's doing. I miss you all terribly and hate that we couldn't get together in June.....I won't be able to make the July gathering as I'll be in Florida visiting our very own Lynn Lifsey!!! (this will be my first vacation in TWO YEARS!!!! Any suggestions for places to buy a bathing suit that may help to hid the horrible excess skin I've still yet to get removed?) I don't know about swimsuits, but glad you're doing GREAT! You can get one of those wrap around things to cover your thighs when you're not swimming.Miss you girl!

I found a place that will custom make a bathing suit - but they're EXPENSIVE! How are you doing with your healing? We need to plan a dinner or something soon. Call me or e-mail me! Miss you too! Dee Dee

Healing-ugh! Actually, I'm sorta doing better. Dr. Ashraf put silver nitrate on my open crotch wounds b/c it was "bubbling and healing too fast." What does that mean-no clue. Anyhoo, those incisions are well on their way to closing up. I started running on Sat...did 3 miles, Sun ran 4, yesterday walked 2, today ran 3. I have the Peachtree in a week...not going to be competative about it...Ginger is so going to kick my bootie! B/c I spent a month in bed, then ended up in the hospital 2 weeks ago for 3 nights, then had to get up and restart classes and exercise, my back has been killing me. Pam from the other Dr. Alexander's office (she's super-nice if you've met her) prescribed darvocet for my back. It's a step between lortab and tylonol. Going to bed! I'm sooooo tired Too much going on! I think I'm ovulating...NO BABIES!

Dee Dee, I found some swimsuits at Kohl's this past weekend and they were on SALE!!! In fact, I got 3 of them. The one that I got had a long fitted top (like a tankini) with a sarong, because I do have lots of loose skin on my upper legs. But if you are going there, you better hurry, as the selection was way down from Wednesday when my girl friend was there at the same store. Hope that you find something. Norma

Hey, Girlie. I'm not AWOL either...just busy...good to hear from you. I'm wearing a suit that Becky gave me...looks cute. I would just get something that has a skirt or something. My arms are GROSS, but I don't care. I'm having a lot of fun this summer. Just wanted to say hello. Good to hear from you.
