Plastic Surgery and insurance

Help! Has anyone had success in having skin removal paid for by insurance? I have Medicare (primary) and United Health Care (secondary). I have had a consultation with Dr. Jeffords in Smyrna and have spoken with Dr. Litner's office in Marietta. They both do not file with either. I have been told that Dr. Marissa Lawrence at Northside takes UHC, but since that is my secondary, that may not be an option either. I have lost 200 pounds and have a history of carbuncles and skin infections which should let this be classified as medically necessary instead of cosmetic. Anyone have suggestions to help me with this? Sandy
