Out of the hospital AGAIN

Hi all.... Just got out of the hospital AGAIN this evening... Went to the ER on Friday and ended up in the OR that same night. Had another hernia and another small bowell obstruction. They had to do this surgery open, and I have a 6 in*****ision on my belly, with 18 staples. And to top is all off, on Saturday I had a grand mal seizure.... and after becoming non-responsive, they called a code on me. I don't remember much about Saturday, but that is a good thing I'm sure. I'm hurting like the dickens, but hopefully I am all fixed now.... Atleast I am home and get to sleep in my own bed tonight. Gotta to go stretch out now.... Hugs, Susan

Oh no, Susan...say it aint so!!! Hopefully they have gotten the last of your problems resolved, and that you will have a surgery free next 6 months...you have been put through the ringer this year!!! Your poor tummy...OUCH!! Hope that you get to feeling better and very soon!!! Norma

Oh No!!!! So sorry to hear that Susan, I hope that have got you fixed once and for all. I know its no fun being the hospital. Oh my Susan, you have really had it rough here lately, What do you think caused the other bowel obstruction etc. You are one strong lately that is for sure and this just goes to show that you can handle anything, and the seizure OMG what brought that on, have you had then before in the past? You are in my thoughts and prayers lady for a speedy recovery. Melissa

My goodness Susan! I am so glad you are home, and hopefully you were able to get some much needed rest after your hospital stay. I cannot believe they let you come home already! Honey, if there is anything you need please let me know. Is your mom there with you? I can grocery shop, or clean your house, do laundry, whatever you need ok? Girlfriend what are we going to do with you? I haven't been around the boards much for the last few weeks but you seem to be trying to keep things interesting.Hope you are trying to take care of yourself and not everybody else for awhile. I've been MIA because I finally bought a townhome. So after getting over all the stress and drama associated with closing on the property. I now get all the fun of packing everything up. I can handle movers but I like to pack things myself. At least it gives me a good time to throw things away! Take care, denise
