Marc, My husband and I live in Stockbridge and as of this last weekend are officially "empty nesters". I have an extra room you are welcome to stay in for a few weeks while you look for a place. I was in the Athens and Conyers area, and rode all over trying to find rentals... with not much luck. I really need to find out where owners who have property for rent list them!

You didn't come to the right part of Athens...I have 2 duplexes in my neighborhood that are vacant and cheap!!! Come on to Athens

Heya Shree... I can't do Athens... I am required to live in my route, which is centered on Conyers... I gotta get a house, to get the garage to do my woodworking... If I can't work with wood, I'll die!!

Try looking at the Rockdale Citizen (Conyers paper), Newton Citizen (Covington paper) online..those are the local papers. Not sure about Monroe(Walton County). You may also try the local Re/Max Real Estate offices. Sometimes they have rental agents. -kb-
