ATTN: Military Wives, I need your help

I need some help finding a PCP, in the Fort Stewart area, I called today to get an appt. at the Family care clinic and was told to call back sometime in July, they have nothing available right now, I said all I need is 15 mins. a dr. WLS friendly, I said surely you have that available right, she said nothing is available at all. I really want to get the ball rolling here, I need a PCP that is WLS friendly, who takes tricare prime, and is willing to give me a 15-20 min. appt, before the end of July. JUlie

Dont know any in your area but July is only a couple weeks away. You could ask to speak with a supervisor to see if they could at least give you a date in July for the appointment explain why you need to be seen. Check with the WLS doctors in your area to see if they can recommend a PCP that has done referals to them in the past to use. Good Luck

Have you called tricare to see if that can give you a name of two.
