hhelp, I'm gaining weight again

it has been almost two yrs post and i have just stated getting all of my water in and start feeling like a new person. but i'm gaining. i had hurt my back, got fired,lost w/c case and been off of work for the last year. i walk and keep kids{grands} but it seem like i'm getting back on that fat roller coster again and all of my so call friends are starting to gossip about how much gain i'm gaining and now i'm so depressed, i need help and prayer. i do some exercise. i started taking diet pills and i'm so scared that i going to get fat again. and i'm worried that i have stretch out my stomach. i need some guildiance.

Depending on the surgery, it can be expected to gain some of the wieght back after 2 years (RNY). Watch what you eat, keep a daily food log and write down everything with calories on it when you put it in your mouth. You may be consuming more than you think. Do what excercise that you can do to burn calories.

Hey Carol, I'm right there with you. Just remember it is easier to lose 10lbs than 100lbs. I weigh myself daily and freak out when I see a certain #. I still see myself as overweight in the mirror some days. I also think people who aren't supporters of wls are wanting and waiting for us to gain the weight back. Just like they use to be the first people to offer us a piece of cake or a donut. Oddly enough they actually started to speak to us(me) after I started losing weight. Dear Carol, I'm starting a support group for WLS patients who are at least 4 months post-op & specifically want to learn new behaviors that will, FINALLY, overcome their history of yoyo dieting.
