Anyone around Hinesville, Fort stewart...

I am looking for anyone around Fort Stewart or Hinesville that has had surgery or is starting the process of getting approved for the surgery. I need someone to point me in the right direction, I need a PCP who is WLS friendly, who takes tricare. I need any info on having the surgery done at a Military Hospital, I have read many profiles, for this area but most are old, (from 2002 or earlier). I really just need someone to point me in the right direction. Thanks for any help. JULIE

Julie, I am at fort benning...but the procedure will still be the same. I just had my surgery on the 14th of March. Your pcp will first have to refer you to the dr. then from there it is up to the dr what steps you are going to have to take. Tricare will cover everything as long as your pcp says its okay.
