Mini Gastric Bypass (MGB) Surgery

Are there any surgeons in Georgia that perform MGB? If not, how would I find the closest surgeon? Thanks in advance for all your responses.

Edie, I had the MGB in 2004 and have lost from 392 to 182. I truly believe this is the safest surgery out there and would recommend it highly. You can go to CLOS.net to learn all about it. Unfortunately, you have to go to Las Vegas,Texas, or Michigan and stay a week to be under the surgeon's care. You are then followed-up by your own doctor at home. ( I no longer need insulin, blood pressure meds, asthma meds, or a CPAP!) This is only performed by Dr. Robert Rutledge, who developed it, or surgeons trained by him.
