I'm Home

Hi Everybody, I got out of the hospital last night after the surgery at about 830pm. My biggest pain I have is the gas pains in my shoulders. But my tummy feels much better. Turns out I had a kink in my small bowel, and that is what has been causing me so much pain everytime I put anything in my mouth, whether it was food or drink. I still haven't talked to my surgeon since the surgery yesterday, as many of you know, when you have out patient surgery like this, your surgery is done, the doctor leaves orders for you and he is on his way. I called to his office this morning before I left Atlanta, but he was back in surgery again. I will see him Thursday afternoon for my post op appointment and I can get all of my other questions answered then. He did call my mom when he was done, but she didn't know what all to ask him, and just took what he told her. Anyway, I feel better, and thats what counts the most. Thank you all so much for all your kind words and well wishes. They all worked really well. I hope to be able to see everyone in June for our next get together. Thanks again. Hugs, Susan

Hi hon!! Glad you are home, and back in your own bed, etc. Ok..so I have a request....could you cut this crap OUT!??! I have real issues when my friends suddenly pop up in the hospital!! Seriously, I hope you are feeling MUCH MUCH better right away. Tami

I am sure glad you're OK now... and recovering... Are we still scheduled for sex on the ice skating rink in Macon on the 27th of June? .... I sure would hate to miss that!!
