I just called my insurance company BCBS, and they informed me that the surgery is not covered under my plan? Now do i shop an employer whose insurance does cover it?

I have BCBS/HMO and I called my insurance company they do not cover Gastric Bypass. However, I called my husband's HR department and she said if I changed to the POS plan it would be covered as long as it was deemed medically necessary. You may try that. Hope this helps.
