call me simple!! WAIT just call me:)
Ya know, I really and truely feel like having a saggy butt is small price to pay for getting me and my body healthy. Luckily for me, I have very little saggy skin. After so may years of being as heavy as I was cause my tailbone, and my xyphoid process (bottom tip of the sternum) protrude outward. I can wear shorts and skorts and my butt and thighs are plenty covered. Like I said.... my size 26/28 (pre-op size) is long gone... along with the padding it carried around with it. Wearing size 12's seems to make it better, atleast in my mind.

Susan
Yeah, you know...I remember how EXCITED I was to find the boney part of my booty! LOL! I had not EVER remembered that feeling, and I used to never understand why people whined and moaned about sitting on a hard surface...wah wah wah.... I never had a problem...
After I went to my first Braves game after WLS, I came home with a different problem than usual...Used to, the outer sides of my thighs would be sore, cuz they were so wide, that the seat arms would dig into them and bruise them. After surgery, I was so excited that I wasn't getting thigh bruises, that little did I know my BOOTY was gonna be bruised from sitting on a hard seat for 3 hrs! LOL!
I have to admit, I got a big kick out of it!!
It does get better...
Hang in there.....
Good luck!!
For me it hurts because like Susan said we don't have that extra paddng on our tailbone anymore, and I to was happy when I realized I have a tailbone now, but I can't sit long either now cause it hurts like hell. I was on Jury duty the 1st week in April and I remember coming home telling my hubby I was going to have to take that "good" pain medication as my tailbone hurt so bad. I was constantly flipping my hips from one side to the other all week. And yes it still hurts for me to sit long, I've lost 77 pounds with 24 more to go and I don't know how I'll handle it after the other 24 is gone. I soooooooooo miss my tailbone padding.
