Hey Wanda - are you interested in the RNY or the Fobi pouch? I'm lurking to find out some about this surgery (just curious) and to better understand others..if anything do a google on the gastric bypass, or maybe I can help with any questions.

Topic: Some questions about before surgery prep?
Hi, I am having Rous-En-Y laproscopic surgery in August. I have been worried about the extra skin that I might end up with as I loose weight. I am 240 pounds, 5feet 4 inches tall. I have been exercising for the past 3 months, lifting weights, walking 30-40 minutes, 5 days a week. I lost 5 pounds and even have some muscles showing up in my arms. I keep fearing that I will end up with all of this skin sagging and no way to pay for plastic surgery. I am disabled and my insurance is Ky Medicaid/medicare A & B. Is there anything I can do to to help my skin get back in shape? How about all those firming lotions I keep reading about?

If you use an antipersperant on the areas of skin that touch each other, they will not sweat and will not become red and itchy. Obviously don't cover your whole body, you do still need to be able to sweat, but it works well where needed.
