Have you had any luck finding one I live in Kissimmee and also looking for a surgeon that accepts share cost . 

Hi! ....you and I both actualky have the same question and Medicaid Share of Cost...So do you mind sharing your findings of Surgeon who accept share of cost please, as well as the approval process. I will be doing a little research as well now that I see there is a possibility that share of cost is accepted. I was stressing on how to go about appealing share of cost, in efforts to get full medicaid... but it is comfort in knowing share of cost may be accepted as well. Thanks in advance for your help.

thanks for sharing your info. I also have Medicaid Share of Cost  can you please tellr how the approval process works when you are currently under a PCP (Primary Care Physician) with share of cost and it interested in weight loss surgery.

I was going to use him and went through all of the pre-op testing. My insurance changed, I got a divorce, and my process stopped for about 8 months. I called them to schedule an appointment to start the process over. After making my last payment on the $500 surgeon fee (or whatever they called it) I was told he wouldn't take my insurance and they wouldn't take me as a patient. That kind of left a bad taste in my mouth... I ended up going to Mexico and self-paying. The service was great and I didn't have to wait 6 months for insurance approval. I guess I'm just venting. They kind of did me dirty.
