Tampa General and Palms of Pasadena (Tampa also) are both COEs, do those count as central?

Gosh, Jarrod, thank you. I'll be available for Medicare soon and I need a revision. I've been thinking about the sleeve so this is really good news for me. Thanks again.

Topic: RE: ANYONE know of an EXCELLENT DS surgeon in FL?
I'm not sure any surgeon in Florida does the DS.
I know someone who had this surgery but she went to Mexico.
Another person I know got her DS surgery in New York.
Both these women live in Jacksonville and I'm in hopes that Emily will see this post and get back to you with some info.

Topic: Celebration vs. Flagler
Hi all,
I just moved here from out of state and looking for a surgeon to do my follow-up. I am 4 months out and had a Lap RNY at a Center of Excellence.
From what I am finding, Florida Hospital and US Bariatric are the only two Centers of Excellence in Central Florida. Dr. Marema at US Bariatric seems to have more experience than Dr. Kim at Florida Hospital, but if I need to be admited, I would have to go to Flagler.
Also, from what I can both programs are limited in their follow-up. It is basically one support group a month and access to a dietician.
Are my perceptions correct?
Are there other pros/cons to the two that I am missing?
Thanks,
halfgitana
