I don't mind driving at all. I am in Orlando. What doctor are you going to? Did they do the laproscopic?
Sorry it took so long to respond. I want to have either the RNY or the VSG. I was leaning toward the VSG because I thought that the weight would come off slower so I would not have as much saggy skin..... But who am I kidding I think it may be better all the way around to do the RNY.
Hi Janie! I am in Palm Coast, also. Moved here in 2015. Have you had any trouble finding a bariatric surgeon/facility for your annual follow-up's and whatnot? I have looked high and low. Each office I have spoken with tells me they do not accept bariatric patients that have been operated on by other surgeons. I would also like to get my "apron" taken care of. I have yet to find a doctor for that.
Please let me know how they has all gone for you, if you don't mind. I'd really appreciate it.
Thank you!

Do you mind sharing who's the doctor and information? I'm currently trying to find one!
You said Dr. David Smith did your tummy tuck. Was that through the discount resident surgery program? If not, how come?
Dr. David Smith is the Chairman of the residency program now in 2016.
Have you ever had any surgery with Paul Smith, his brother? If so what was it and how did it turn out?

You may have ve to drive a little bit.. Because most surgeons don't require any fees. I am using a doctor in Ocala which is 2 hours from me. I have staywell and didn't have to pay anything out of pocket. Turned all my paper work and was apporved in a week.
I am desperately looking for a Bariatric Surgeon who accepts Humana Medicaid. If anyone has any info, I would appreciate it. Looking to have a revision done!
