Hi I was wondering if anyone here used Dr Marema and paid cash for their gastric bypass. Im wondering how much the cash price is or was. I know diff people can differ but if you had a no complication regular everyday gastric bypass and paid cash please let me know.

I have stay well/wellcare insurance. I had my rny surgery on 10/22. I was approved with 6 months of pcp visits,a psych evaluation, a letter of medical necessity from pcp and an endoscopy and a gallbladder ultrasound. My surgeon informed me of what was needed and then they submitted and I was approved. If you ask your surgeons office they will tell you everything you need. Do that and you should have no problem being approved and approved quickly. My paperwork was submitted on a Thur and was approved by Monday. Good Luck and God Bless on your journey!

I found him!!! My surgery was done Oct 2 at UF Shands by Dr Mast of plastic surgery. Medicaid and medicare did not contest his request for a full Fleur does Li's abdominal plasty. I am still very sore and swollen but grateful this was covered. I was told the severity of my panis and skin was why they never disputed it. In 22 months I have lost more than 220 and have started to finally see myself. My true self.
wow thats great !!! i have medicaid but i know they will take me off soon and put me on soc, if what u say is true then there is hope for me

Hey there :) Im also looking in to the wls... I dont have a pcp, however, ive been going to my obgyn for the past yr becuz i was pgnt and had high sugar and hbp and he wanted my weight under control...could i use that as my 6 months waiting oeriod? or does have to be with my pcp? thxxx
a yr wait??? that sucks, I was told only 3 months....I have staywell...is it because I have that HMO (staywell)??? I need this done asap b4 they take my medicaid away. do i need to change my HMO? im also in clearwater
