I got my stent out and the the leak appears to be healed. no leak from test. On soft and Pureed food at least till tues when I could get jp drain out.

I used it for my DS and for my plastic surgery. Remember all that it does is protect your job. To get paid I utilized my short term disability. The first week is a waiting period- no pay- after that it is based on the terms of your diability that you have (if you have it)
I worked for a major corporation that was vry by the book. Just make sure your doctor states the time off correctly and the reason why, then you should be fine!

I learnd to have deaf ears to all the negativity. Like you, I researched this extensively, knew the pros and cons yet it was my choice. I had 3 weight loss surgeries and each time heard the same negativity but did what I had to do for me. I am healthy and happy, have lost 151 lbs. and below my goal weight at 138 lbs.

Thanks for the info. My BMI is 36 and the only comorbidity is bad knees. I'm like you, I really don't want the bother of fighting them. I'm so anxious to get the surgery June 1, I don't think I would put it off even for a month if there was a chance of them paying. I can't wait for the chance to sit on the "loser's bench". Thanks again.

Corgi Mom, I have to stay on the full liquid diet for 5 weeks, after the 5th week I can then eat mushy foods.
I never thought to put chicken and Spaghetti sauce in the magic bullet. I have one of those, I guess I could try it tonight. Thanks for the tip
