Hi,

Medicaid will only cover the RNY... they do not cover Lap-Band or VSG.... I myself was leaning more towards the VSG, but since I have medicaid my Dr. said they will not cover it.

Good luck whatever your decision.

P.S. if your sister does get medicaid and decides to go with the RNY choose Medipass as your provider... HMO's take longer and are more difficult to deal with when it comes to WLS.
