I had Dr Martin as a ppo & he gave me the letter of medical necessity. He accepts Humana Medicaid. Be sure to provide them with the sample letter you got from Dr Wizman. I was approved with Dr Wizman but changed Dr's bcuz I wanted the DS instead. Feel free to ask any questions I'd assist you if I can help.

Hello Everyone,
I'm new on here...I have a PPO Insurance through my Job. They sent the Pre- Approval request to the Insurance. I was sad because they said the terms changed Jan 2015 & they now require a 6month total with the Nutristonist. I will have all 6visits with the Nutristonist on June 14. I called Dr Gonzalez assistant and she told me the Dr doesn't accept Medicaid Share of Cost. Does anybody know of any Bariatric Dr that accepts Share of Cost? It sounds like I'm going to need a new Dr...Has anybody experience this? I appreciate all of you.

I have a friend who had this Doctor and he was very happy with him. I do believe this site has many reviews on him and his staff. I just met yesterday with my PCP and we discussed the vertical sleeve. I told him I was interested in Dr. Vaughan as my friend was so pleased and happy with him. So I have the ball started and let's see how long it takes to get to surgery. Would love to exchange emails with you.
