Hi there It was so nice to meet you last night at the support grp. And to think you recongized me from here on "OH". How was the group you were in? Did they share good information? I'm going to join that group next month. I went to the pre-op group since I was there to support 2 co-workers who are getting ready for surgery. With more pre-op people in that group I did not get enough out of it as a post. You know what I mean. I hope maybe we can get together for a walk sometime. Have a great day! Priscilla

Hi Priscilla! I can't believe I recognized you either, because I am so poor at situational awareness (per my military hubby!). And from a picture! It was nice meeting you too, we'll definately have to meet up to walk or go to the gym or SHOP!! Our meeting was really good, we discussed some different books dealing with WLS and diet in general. I really like those meetings, everyone is really friendly and since you have to be 1 year out, most are out of the "honeymoon" period and are able to offer real insight to issues we all deal with eventually. The group Priscilla mentioned is called WLS Veterans. It meets monthly on the third Thursday of the month at Esther Grossman Center in Hollywood. They just started a website which is wlsveterans dot org, and if you have any questions, the contact is paula@wlsveterans dot org. Like I said, it's a group for people at least 12 months out. The furthest out is 6 years, I think, so there's plenty of experience. Also, there is always lots of good information and speakers. Priscilla, are you free either this Wednesday or Thursday to walk?
