Weston Florida

I am going to be going to Weston, Florida to stay at a resort their for next week. I can't recall tne name of the resort right now, but it is a RCI Resort. Can anyone tell me of some good restaurants and if there are any places of interest that we should visit. We live in Leesburg and not familiar with Weston. Thanks for your help. Carol

I live in Weston Florida and there are a couple of different resorts here. Do you remember which road it is on, not that Weston is very big. There are a lot of restaurants here. I have only lived here a year so I haven't tried them all......if you like Japanese food ( Benihana style) Japan Inn, Pei Wei (Chinese food) Flanigan's (bar grill kinda food) Braseros (supposedly very good Argentinian steakhouse) Carolina Ale House.....and the list could go on and on.....there are a couple of golf courses here and that is about it for Weston. We are so close to Ft. Lauderdale beaches though so that is always something to do.

Thanks for your response. We are staying at the Mizner Place on Bonaventure Blvd. I will check in to your restaurant list. Are there any dog race or horse race tracks in the area? Thanks, carol

Wow, you will literally be staying right up the street from me. The Mizner Place is right in Town Center which has a lot of restaurants and shops, plus Publix is right there too. You won't need your car because everything is right there within walking distance. There are no race tracks in Weston but I think there might be in Ft. Lauderdale. I am still learning my way around the greater Ft. Lauderdale/Miami area. I hope you have a nice vacation.
