help with amerigroup

has anyone been approved on amerigroup, that can help me out? i received my 2 no today. i am about to give up, but that is what they want i think, my dr's will do another appeal this week ahead. my medicaid will be up for renew in a couple of months should i switch to another plan? does anyone which one will let me have the surgery? thanks for reading this ! sherry hernandez

Sherry, Santa here. I wish I knew more of your plight through Amerigroup/Medicaid. But I don't. I'm on Medicare through Social Security Disability. And using Humana Ins. Their policy for Medicare is Humana Gold Plus. And two weeks ago after a 6 month Doctor Supervised Diet, I was APPROVED over-night. My date is May 10th. The other Insurance company dealing out approvals daily is United Health Care. But as I said I don't know of what insurance companies deal with Medicaid. What's the Possibility of switching from Medicaid to Medicare? Don't give up. For some insurance companies, it seems like a game to them. That you need to Appeal so many times to show them that your very determined to receive the Surgery. Have you've written and/or called the Amerigroup yourself?
