I haven't been very active on the boards lately
So here is my attempt to get things moving.
I don't have many wow moments anymore...I use to enjoy them so much! But recently I had one!
About a year ago I sized my rings down from an 10 to a 7 1/2 that was a wow moment for sure since I couldn't even wear them as a 10 for years. Well the other night we were having a household meeting and my daughter asked my husband to take off his ring so she could try it on. I know I need to get my rings sized down again, but I am scared to do it, just in case I gain
Well I asked for the ring and it slipped right on! My husband has small hands, his ring size is a 5 1/2 I think, possibly a 5. I was shocked to say the least.

I love our WOW moment, Tracey!
I believe that the most fun WOW moment for me so far is realizing that I can sit for a long period of time with my legs crossed and that my hands land in my lap and not on my belly...there still is one but it is getting smaller all the time!
Another WOW moment happened at Target. I love Isaac Mizrahi and his fashions. So, I tried on an XXlrg skirt of his and it was a little too big. I then decided to get the Xlrg and wore it for Easter Sunday Services along with a beautiful lacey top that was Xlrg. Clothes at Target have always run small on me so when I saw this cute regular size 18 skirt, I thought, "I think this will fit me." And it did!!!! I didn't buy it because it was over $20 but I couldn't believe it fit.
I didn't even wear misses size 18 as a teenager, so this a size I've never worn in my life before. It makes me teary just thinking about how wonderful this surgery has been for me.

Yeah I love having a smaller lap..this morning my pug was having issues balancing on my lap, I told him he needs to lose weight!
It is so great to see sizes you haven't seen in years or don't even ever remember wearing ever. I joke around and say last time I was a 4/6 I was a fetus.
Congrats on your progress, I read your profile whenever you update
Tracey

Hey Tracey! That's awesome... I just updated my profile the other day and said the same thing - that I don't have a lot of those moments anymore being over 20 months out. I call them woo hoo moments, but I had one over the Easter weekend when I fit into a size 8 skirt... something I never thought could happen in a million years... I'm proud of you - you have come so far just in the year-and-half I've gotten to know you... woo hoo for you!!

I had a WOW moment today POST Op.. I put on my FAT Capri's this morning & they were tight.
I'm at the point where I have no clue when my WLS will be, I can't summit approval till the end of May. But I NEED summer clothes sooo bad & hate buying them in the size I need. On another Note: Congrats to everyone else!!!
