If you meet all your requirements. ...yes it will bcuz you would be submitted to Medicaid for the authorization for surgery.

Hi Kdvia,
I am like everyone else just starting this process, and have regular insurance that does not cover WLS, along with Medically Needy SOC of $685. I live in North Port, close to Sarasota, and my preferred doctor in Venice and Sarasota do not accept Medicaid, so I am on a mission to find someone fairly close who does. I appreciate all of your insight as well that you have provided to everyone else. You have been the best resource I have found yet!
Desperate for the surgery and a change in my life, I lost my job in January and basically have become a hermit. This surgery is the thing that will really get me going in the right direction!
Thanks again!

Which procedure are you interested in having? Also I live in Tallahassee and I traveled to Ocala for my surgeon. So look for docters in Tampa that take it. If not Ocala is only 2 hours away from Sarasota. Don't be afraid to travel for this it's totally worth the sacrifice!
