Did they have shuttle service to the Magic Kingdom? That is very important to me. Don't want to have to move my car two or three times a day. I am planning on taking rest breaks about midday then going back in the evening. so the pool and etc is important also. I looked at the Howard Johnson on International Drive. it said it is about ten miles away and has free scheduled shuttles. Was the one you stayed at closer? Thanks. The price at the resort will be 99. plus tax. gas is so expensive (three bucks a gallon and going up today here) that I need to save every where I can so I can buy kiddies LOTS of souveniers. Thanks for your reply.

If you haven't checked out MouseSavers.com you might find some helpful info there. That is my favorite site about Disney. You can sign up for the newsletter and also to be notified by email each time the site changes (when new deals or good information have been added). This is a big website, so it takes a while to check everything out, but lots of times I have used discount codes from this site. It is just a really neat site. This lady checks everything out for herself before she critiques anything and is constantly traveling and staying at the different hotels so she can talk about them from experience. Sometimes I just go there to read and get my Mickey "fix." I'm a major Disney fan. Have been many, many times. It makes me feel young. Another thing I have found down through the years is probably about 97 percent of the time you can find the rooms you want if you wait until last minute (where people have cancelled or where travel agents have dumped their blocks of rooms back if they weren't booked, etc.) If its a case where I MUST be assured reservations, then I book rooms ahead of time where I can find them and then keep checking daily to try for the rooms/hotel that I wanted. If I'm successful I just book the new rooms and cancel the other ones. Other times I'll just take a chance and almost always am able to get rooms that I want at the last minute. I also like the nonDisney hotels across the street from Downtown Disney (Doubletree, etc) Shuttle buses run constantly to all parks and of course you can just walk to Downtown Disney which is a fun place in and of itself. Now I'm getting the Mickey fever! Have fun! Betty
