We always had baked ham. Easter was the one Sunday of the year that Mama made ham and eggs after church on Sunday. Then we would have all manner of baked ham for days. But since we all loved baked ham it was very cool with us. Red

I am not sure why we eat ham on Easter, maybe because it goes so well with eggs! But Mama would make biscuits, red-eye gravy, and of course there would be grits. This is our first Easter without Mama. It will not be the same. Red

Boiled eggs always tasted better to me at Easter, I don't know why they just do. Probably just in my head.

why is that? I feel the same why about other food on certain holidays. I guess it is the memories and come with it. Hopefully you will be able to enjoy a egg on this holiday. Are you and the kids dying eggs. That was always so much fun

We might dye eggs. My daughter will be at her dad's, so my son is the only one that is going to be home. It is kindof messy for a 3 year old. I will probably be doing all of the work.

Ham and my Mama's famous, fabulous potato salad. I'll be fixing both for dinner on Sunday. We're sharing Easter dinner with another couple - no sense in both of us cooking a big dinner for 2 so we're sharing our meal and the cooking duties. Also, since ham is my favorite protien, I won't mind having left overs! Vickie J.
