Help with PS after WLS

I am in need of advice for anyone who has got plastic surgery done and got all or part of the surgery paid for through insurance. Name of insurer would be very helpful. Thanks

Tiffany I read your profile and so sorry you never got the insurance your were looking for. It didn't state that you ever tried to get on Social Security Disability which afterwards in two years you would've been granted Medicare. As to Plastic Surgery for the Excess Skin. You need to be Medically Nessecary. You have to Document every rash, legion and skin openning not only by keeping a Journal but with Pictures and having it Documented by visiting a doctor too. Getting the WLS is hard but getting the PS for the EX. Skin is very hard BUT Possible. Good Luck and keep it up,,,,, OFF. Michael

United health care helped me out!!! I had a hernia repair and then they helped out with the Lower body lift. They did not cover it all!! but a HUGE part of it. I had to travel from Orlando to Boca Raton. Best wishes this is a hard one to get help with. YOu will need lots of picures and documations and doctors notes that there is a medical reason to remove the skin. Best wishes
