O.K., here I sit still consumed with wanting more and more stories to read about successes with this RNY surgery. My family says that they will be glad when it is finally behind us so I can do more than obsess with reading bio's online. My husband and Iwill be leaving for Pensacola after he gets off work tomorrow and getting set up in our hotel room across from the hospital. I have to be at the hospital at 5:30 am on Tuesday for a 7:30 surgery time and I do not want to have to rise at 3am just for the long drive to the hosp. Anyway, it is almost here and even if I could eat I cant because of all the fluttering in my belly. I have to be on full liquids all day tomorrow in preparation for the surgery. Please keep me in your prayers. God Bless, Kay Shaver

Kay, One word of warning, your obsession with reading bios may not end with your surgery... I'm three years out and I still start my morning with Before & After pics and the occasional bio. Best of luck to you. My thoughts and prayers are with you..

I was the same way just a couple of weeks ago. I stayed online reading stories. It was one way to keep my mind occupied. You will be so glad that you did this. I am only 11 days out and I am. I am going today for my f/u appt. and I will post later my weight loss. I know you are not that hungry now, but try to get in that last special meal. I now my nerves made me where I wasn't that hungry. But I was glad I had my speghatti and garlic bread. Well my prayers are with you and remember post as soon as you can so we know how you are doing.
